The National Bison Range in Moiese, Montana, was originally established in 1908 as a game preserve by President Theodore Roosevelt, a Republican Conservationist.
The Range is truly one of the most beautiful public lands administered by the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
During the late Spring to early Fall, visitors can drive the 19 mile loop road over the top of a mountain for a panoramic view of the Mission Valley.
The National Bison Range offers great opportunities for bird watching and viewing animals such as wild bison, elk, deer, bear, bighorn sheep and pronghorn.
This is America's public land! Love it, protect it and keep it "Inherently Federal"!
